And I shouldn’t be paying 100 for a pint reducer with a small amount of base coat mixed in and no support.

Enough for a Mirror Cover
You promptly dispatched what I ordered, that’s good. My repair was on a Door Mirror Cover 2009 Subaru Forester, Topaz Gold. I’m happy with the repair, but the glass is set apart from the rest of the sheet metal by the black mount and edging. The colour although “close enough” would have been very noticeable in an area of a door or fender panel. The basecoat “gold” is slightly yellow/browner than the original “champagne” and the “metallic” powder or chip is slightly larger than the original factory paint. Paintscratch.com Also, the 1K clearcoat is fine but doesn’t have the shine or lustre of the original factory finish even after buffing. Overall though, this is a great repair for a mirror cover.
Colours Match My Mom’s Body and Trim
The colours match the body and trim on my mom’s Buick Encore. A tire scuff removed the paint from a nickel-sized spot on the grey trim and a few other scratches on the white body. The nickel size spot was much larger than the “pencil eraser” size the directions said the pen should be used. The pen worked fine, but not a single application felt right. After three shakes with several days to dry in between, there was enough thickness built up that I could sand the area smoothly. The scratches were very easy and already looked good with only the base colour applied. After applying another coat and clearing the scratches have almost disappeared. I’m sure someone with more talent could have made the repair invisible using the same products. We are very happy with the result I have been able to achieve.
